Killing Anann was born out of a love for science fiction films such as "Universal Soldier", "Blade Runner" and "Robocop". It was also inspired by female reluctant hero films such as Luc Besson's "La Femme Nikita" and the J.J. Abrams' "ALIAS" television series.
What sets it apart is our heroine making the definitive choice that if she is indeed going to meet her end, it must be on her terms and her terms alone. She will not be used as someone else's tool of death. But instead Anann makes the faithful choice to seize her freedom as an individual who was human long before she was made into a weapon of mass destruction.
Over three life times, she's helped shaped the world through bullets, blood and sacrifice. Coordinating coups, overthrowing governments and saving friends and family only to outlive them and bury them, Anann is emotionally spent. But she has just enough grit left to put her training to use and put an end to those who pursue her.
Enlisted and trained by Anann, their partnership has dethroned despots, averted global disasters and eliminated any and all threats to humanity; or so he's been told. Upon Anann's defection, Michael is forced to choose between his duty and the emotion he feels for Anann; emotions strictly prohibited in his life as a focused tool of death.
